When we found you that saturday at the spring pet fest in 2012, lying belly flat and your hind legs stretch back, we fell in love immediately. we knew you were special right away and would bring joy to our lives. when our first son was born, you were always doing silly stuff with him, like jumping over him while he crawled on his belly, laughing hysterically at you. you were always the best companion to go on walks with around our subdivision lake and really the only reason i went for walks. despite the tugging of the leash and chasing after ducks, we had so much fun together and i cherish that time the most. its now difficult to work at home and not expect to see you when i leave my office desk upstairs. but you gave us the best years of our lives and we will never forget you. lindsay, brady and logan and i love you so much and hope you're in a better place now with your big bro Rocky and big sis izzie. i hope to find you on the other side one day, my sweet sweet girl. goodbye for now, zooey. we love you always.
