Sig
2014 - 2026
Sig crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully February 18 to join his beloved dad Rudy in heaven.
Sig entered this world on Thanksgiving of 2014 as one of two boys in his litter. In February of 2015 he was adopted by his mom Erin, and moved from Delaware to his home in Virginia where he met his brother Orejas. While Orejas wasn't super excited about his new sibling, Sig tried his best everyday to share his puppy energy with him.
After helping his mom through a rough divorce, and living with his foster family the Wilsons while his mom was deployed with the Navy, Sig then met his dad, Rudy who embraced him as the human child he clearly was.
Sig stood loyaly at his dad's side through numerous life changes and adapted to life with his dad when his mom moved overseas. After moving from Virginia to Texas, sadly in November of 2023, his dad underwent a surgery and never came home. Sig never stopped waiting for his dad to come back through the door. Sig then accompanied his step-mom Leah in her move back to Virginia where he stayed for several months until it was decided his golden years should be spent in retirement with his Grandma. He was surprised to see his mom arrive in Virginia and take him on his final cross country road trip from Virginia back to Texas in 2024.
From then on Sig lived in retirement with his Grandma Carol and Grandpa Dennis, though officially retired, he did take on the role of the unofficial mascot of Kissing Tree.
Sig brought love and joy to all who were blessed to meet him. He helped many overcome their fear of big dogs and served as an exlempary ambassador for the doberman breed. He will be remembered as a gentle giant (unless you were an armadillo) and the goodest boy to ever grace the lives he touched.
He leaves behind his grieving grandparents and mom, who will never forget the unconditional love he gave every moment of his life.
