Sailor

2014 - 2026

I found sailor in the midst of the most challenging time in my life, and his too. He had been struck by a car and left behind, resulting in loss of his back left leg. Thankfully a rescuer found him and gave him a chance. I knew he was meant to be with me as soon as I saw his photo, and a few short weeks later he was flying from Guadalajara, Mexico to me in Texas. We had almost 11 years together, navigating through loss, heartbreak, love, multiple moves, bringing his human sister into the world, and so on. He brought so much joy, laughter, silliness, and love into our lives. He was the best companion, son, dog, and friend I could ever ask for. I hope he has found his little brother, peeve, over the rainbow bridge.
I will miss him until the end of time.
I feel him everywhere and nowhere.
