Penny

2014 - 2026

Our sweet girl, Penny, passed over the rainbow bridge on March 3, 2026, to meet with her sister Emma who was waiting for her. For almost 12 years, Penny brought joy, comfort and companionship to our entire household. As a beagle, she was full of energy, loved to play, go on walks, howl at possums, and go for rides in our car. Penny always slept with Emma, who was a golden retriever, until she passed in 2024. Penny then began to sleep in our bed which kept us all warm and would sit on the couch with us to keep us company. Penny loved treats, especially peanut butter bones and graham crackers. as she aged, Penny's tri-color became WHITER, but she was still very active. She fought liver disease for several years, but never gave up. Penny slowed down, but still loved being outside and going for walks. She was the most loyal companion who gave us unconditional love. She always was excited to see us when we returned home and wanted to be with us all the time. We will always remember the happiness and comfort Penny brought into our lives, treasure the memories we had together, and appreciate how she helped us through our daily lives. We will never forget, somewhere between hello and goodbye, there was love, so much love between us. Penny, we know your spirit is with us and we wait until the day we will see you again at the rainbow bridge.
