It is with a heavy heart that we inform you all that we held Ozzie for the last time as he passed away this morning, succumbing to his injuries from the dog attack. Ozzie was such a sweet dog and never met a face he didn’t want to kiss/lick. He had the funniest little happy dance when he would greet you at the door. He was just our sweet little baby boy.

He was preceded in death by his adoptive grand-parents, Louise & Aaron Radford who loved to babysit him and Jackie from time to time. He leaves to cherish his memory, litter-mate sister Jackie “Jacqueline, Flying Dutch” Dalton, his adoptive family Trace, Donna and Brian Dalton, Aunts Karen & Marchelle, his Iowa family, and a host of other loved ones, family, neighbors, and friends.

We are hurting, however - we do not grieve as others do. Revelation 21:5 says “Behold, I make all things new”. We believe our sweet Ozzie is included in the word “all”. We will see him again in the earth made new.

We thank everyone for your prayers and words of encouragement and concern. We thank the Heart of Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center for the valiant efforts to save our sweet boy. We are especially appreciative of Pastor Grosvenor for being with us at the end of Ozzie’s journey. And we are so blessed to have our friends the Nugen family check on us and bring us a meal this evening. God bless you all.
