Mushu Wommack

2011 - 2021

We are sad to announce that our beautiful Pomeranian, Mushu, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.

Mushu came to our family in 2015 when we answered a Craigslist ad in Washington state. His original owners were expecting a baby and didn't want to have a dog around - it was a very sad excuse but we were willing to take him in with open arms. They only wanted a $50 rehoming fee, which was the best $50 we ever spent! He joined our family and became the brother to our first Pomeranian, Coco. They always got along and Mushu was the perfect addition to our family.

In 2016 we were asked to take in 2 more Poms, and we did - adding Lil' Bill and his sister Bowie to our family. Our house became the house of floofs, and it was a lot of fun having all these babies around. We ended up rehoming Bowie as she was better suited living in a 1-dog family and our four became 3, but the were the best trio ever. Every time we moved, our dogs came in tow. We moved back to Texas in 2017 and the dogs thrived.

Coco departed us on October 31, 2018 - we believe she was ready to pass and got out of the house during trick or treat time. We miss our Coco so much but take comfort knowing she passed away on her terms. We were now down to 2 poms - our 2 tan boys.

We moved back to Dallas in 2020 and the boys adjusted well. Life changes came of course - the kids have grown up, the oldest daughter left the nest and the youngest graduated high school. The boys were doing great and we loved having both of them around to play with, cuddle with and enjoy. They have always been more like family, not just pets.

Mushu started to fall ill around midnight of March 10th. We were able to get him to a clinic in the morning but it was too late. Our little guy peacefully passed away in the arms of his Human Mom at the Vet Clinic as she was waiting to get him in for emergency care. He succumbed unexpectedly from Congestive Heart Failure. It was a huge blow to our family and we all are devastated.

Mushu is survived by his little brother, Lil' Bill and his human family: Mama Verna, Papa Mike, Brother TJ, and his two sisters, Michaela and Savannah. He also has many extended family and friends who loved him dearly and whi will miss him. There will always be a special place in our heart that he filled. We are so thankful for the 6+ years that we had with him and we hope he knows he was so very much loved.

"If Love could have saved you, you would have lived forever"

RIP to our Baby Boy, Mushu. We love you so much!
