Miss Katy Our Sweet Girl

Precious Miss Katy was surrendered to us over 10 years ago and upon being greeted by several Chi's  and a 150 pound Great Dane Mastiff named Otis immediately took control of the situation and set her boundaries.

Katy took ill soon after her arrival with Pancreatitis, but recovered after 3 days in emergency hospital. I hand fed boiled chicken for a year until she got back on her feet and over 10 years later would only eat when I sat by her which she demanded - you did not argue with Katy.

We developed an incredible bond and I became her human forever. SHE WAS A CELEBRITY at Home Depot, Homegoods, Whatburger drive through, and always put a smile on the many faces of folks we met on our adventures. at 4 pounds she filled any room with love and beauty, and there were always photo ops; And then there were the MANY KATY WHERE YOU AT moments when she disappeared , usually exploring or asleep somewhere.  PANIC ATTACK until she appeared out of nowhere!!

She loved getting dressed up which usually meant we were going out and loved little Marisa our Grandaughter. Her illness came as a shock and we could not fix her . She is watching over us and will meet us at that Rainbow Bridge to cross over to Heaven with us.
