Loki

2015 - 2024

Loki, Dog of Mischief. Master of Blankets. Best Good Boy. Beloved Bubba and Booger Bear. Loki was a gift from the start. He came into my life and brought energy and color. Smart, strong, and opinionated, he was everything a dog should be and more. For nine years he was my loyal companion, my true friend.

He was my dog, but he so loved my family as well. My mom loved to tease him with a vacuum cleaner (although she may have created a lifelong neurosis) and my dad often shared his food and gave him loving head scritches.

Loki was a brave boy. Never afraid of lightning, he choose to run outside and boof at it instead. Fireworks? Forget about it. Just stay off my lawn. Reflections, squirrels, and balls were another story. All circular objects were fair Game.

But what made Loki truly the best of good boys? His gentle and loving nature. When a small, special needs kitten entered his life, Loki befriended her. Jellybean misses her brother now.

Loki will forever be missed. Not one day will go by when me or my wife won't think of him, won't look for him without realizing that is what we are doing. Together, he and I lived a lot of life and I will forever be grateful for my beloved dog of mischief. My Loki. My Bubba.
