Dear dini-
It was 2 weeks ago today that i had to say goodbye to you-my beloved, sweet, funny, affectionate, unique cat Dini. You were the boss cat, especially After the loss of big sister cassie in 2014 & the arrival of new little brother Sammy in 2019. And oh how you loved to chew on plastic bags!
I had you for almost 15 years & that was not nearly long enough. You were my lap cat, my soulmate, best friend, tv watching cat & the best bed buddy ever! It all happened so fast-you were diagnosed with lung histoplasmosis & you were gone in 9 days. Treatment was too little too late. I knew when you looked at me with pleading eyes to help you breathe better, that i had to let you go & be at peace. I always kept you indoors but i could not protect you-you got so sick so fast & i felt helpless.
Your sister/littermate, Gypsy, was diagnosed with kidney failure a year ago & she is thankfully still with me, but she is on borrowed time. You weren’t supposed to go first.
Dini you brought so much joy & fun to my life, i will love & miss you forever. I am heartbroken & miss you more than words Can say.
Fly high my sweet little old man baby boy-i will always love you. ❤️🐾🌈
