2003 - 2021

To my most beloved companion,
I first saw you at the Temple Animal Shelter. You immediately caught my eye. As I walked past you to look at the other dogs, you were still on my mind. It was then I decided that you were the one. It was the year 2005. You were only around 2 years old. You were intelligent, obedient, and loving. You spent the next 16 years by my side. I watched as you aged and as you became slower and slower and you became gray. In the beginning of March, 2021 I knew the time to say goodbye was getting near. You were in pain, and I just couldn’t bare to see you suffering. So on 3.8.2021 we said goodbye. I got to kiss you and hug you and tell you how much I loved you. It was one of the most painful things I have experienced in my life. It was too difficult to let go. But I know that you are in the arms of Jesus now. The only hope I have is in Him. So I will see you again my friend . Thank you for being the best dog I could have ever asked for. I love you Chuy. With all of my heart. Now until forever!
