Your family loves and misses their Big Brown Sugar Boy. I miss your sparkling brown eyes, soft, warm body, and unconditionally loving nature. You were truly a friend and I miss being spending time with you. Thank you for being part of my family. I'm sorry that brain cancer stole your joy, sorry that the treatments did not stop it, and sorry that we had to say goodbye when you were only 7 years old. Ultimately, you taught me to love the version of Brutus that stood before me and to cherish every moment with you even though some of those moments were heartbreaking. Your gentleness never wavered even though there were times you must have felt very bad. I loved running with you! How many hundreds of miles did we run together? Every run ended with kisses! We had some really great times together and it cheers me up to remember them.I hope that you enjoyed them as much as I did. I will love you forever, my true best friend Brutus.
