Demona “Mona”

2014 - 2022

We had always wanted a white female cat with two blue eyes. When we rescued Demona and the rest of her litter we were adamant we weren't going to keep any, but Mona with her almost all white fur (she had two gray dots on the top of her head that disappeared as she got older), and heterochromia (one blue eye, one yellow/green eye) worked her way into our hearts.

Demona loved giving head kisses, zooming around the house, lounging in the bean bag she stole from me, sitting in the windowsill watching the birds and neighbor's dogs. She loved cat treats and for some reason she had the strangest thing for bread. Mona was a great sibling to her brother Cortez and always put up with him when he was grouchy. She was a sweet, loving, and adorable cat in all ways.

We sorely miss Demona whose passing has left an ache in all of us. We just hope she knew how much we all loved her and will remember her. We love you Mona.
