Rumble

2010 - 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Rumble, who brightened our lives for over 15 years. Rumble was more than just a pet; he was an integral member of our family, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Rumble was born on May 7, 2010, in Oklahoma. Rumble was named after the OKC Thunder basketball team mascot. He was just 10 weeks old when he joined a happy house full of young children and two dog siblings. Rumble loved everyone and never wanted to be separated from us. He was particularly fond of Brittany, who was just 8 years old, when he came to us. When Rumble was young, he loved his sloth rope toy and he enjoyed floating on a mat in the swimming pool. Later on, he loved “fishing” for pebbles on the tanning ledge of the pool.

Rumble grew up with our children and was a loving sibling to more dogs and cats who came into the family. He really thought he had the upper hand with our lab, Brooklyn, when she was a puppy, until Brooklyn got much bigger than him! Rumble also tolerated the stray kitten we brought home several years ago, even if he wasn’t sure what she was.

Rumble was a real sweetheart, who never wanted to be left out of anything. He wanted to cuddle and be close. He was patient and sweet with people of all ages. In his golden years, he became quieter, enjoyed long naps, and still ruled the roost among his dog and cat siblings.

Rumble has crossed the rainbow bridge, where he joins his sisters, Precious and Brooklyn, and his brother, Rudy. While our hearts ache with his absence, we are thankful for the good and long life that he had with us.

Rumble, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Rest peacefully, our beloved “Rumble Bumble”.
