Dexter Eckelberger-Powell

2010 - 2025

Dexter was our "bonus" dog. We adopted him sight unseen with his sister and littermate, Diesel. He turned out to be the best bonus of our lives. Dexter was very well-traveled, moving across the country a few times. He was always a happy boy with his tail up and wagging. He loved to go to the dog park, meet new friends, go for long walks, explore new places, chase balls and squirrels, and eat all the treats. He especially loved visiting Home Depot. He slept in his human's bed and even had his own soft pillow (otherwise he would steal one). Having overcome bladder cancer in 2023, he underwent surgery and chemo where he showcased his stoic bravery and courage. Dexter was extraordinary and will be greatly missed by his moms, Leah and Ellias, and Sister Diesel.
