Apollo knew what he wanted the day he showed up as a stray in a stranger’s garage many years ago. He chose his dad, Derrick, and lived a long and full life surrounded by love and endless Milk Bones, also known as “cookies,” from the family who adored him.

He loved pulling his dad on long walks, basking in the sun, and snacking on watermelon. In his younger years, he enjoyed his zoomies up and down the stairs of the house.

Apollo, also known as Fat Fat by his daddy or Pollo by his auntie, was the bestest boy that ever existed.

A TikTok page called ApolloPawzzz will continue his legacy, honoring his resilience by documenting homeless animals throughout Houston being fed and shown appreciation and love.

Rest peacefully, Apollo, and show all the angels your zoomies. You will be missed.
